1: Becoming a Interest Group
• Gather individuals who meet all qualifications
for membership and desire membership in ASUF
• Complete all interest group request forms
• Seek an advisor
• Start the colony process |

Stage
2: Colonization Process (undergraduate chapter)
Stage 2 is the center of the expansion process. Several
documents can be downloaded to provide additional resources to complete the expansion
process. Please
contact our expansion coordinator for more information.
• Institution must be
an accredited 2 year or 4 year accredited institution
• Develop organizational structure (officers,
bylaws, budget, CAP)
• Complete forms needed to become a recognized organization
at the institution
• Gain approval from ASUF Regional Director
or national expansion coorindator
• Minimum of 10 prospective candidates for membership
• Minimum of 1 faculty/staff advisor
• Coordinate & implement Pillars Programming

3: Achieve Active Status
• Organize and submit charter petition
• Pay all fees
• Complete all membership education programs
• Plan and attend all ceremonies |
