Headquartered in Albany, GA, the “good life city”, Anointed Students in Unity Fellowship Fraternity and Sorority, Incorporated (ASUF, Inc.) was founded by 15 college students who saw a need for the ministry and the advancement of the Kingdom. For 10 years, ASUF has been a leader in campus ministry through kingdom service, ministry and social fellowships on college campuses in the surrounding region. Since its inception in August 1999, this fraternal ministry has continued to set a standard in the operations of fraternity and ministry to experience growth and success.
The vision was casted to the students at an the weekly bible study. Five students immediately responded to the idea. The summer, began to clear the groundwork for the vision including mission, vision, purpose and goals. The proposal was presented to the Office of Student Activities and approved on August 12, 1999. The first interest meeting was held at the Harnett Criminal Justice Building in Room 111 on September 16, 1999. The Royal Founding Fifteen were named the “ Keys to A Holy Ghost Explosion” including members Larry Thomas (Minister), Charles Walker (Minister), Nazarell Williams, Kimberly Savage (Jones), Pamela Flowers, Shameka Sanders (Smalley), Brandi Hollis (Franklin), Jada Selma, Troylene Johnson, Kimberly Roan, Benjamin Brown, Darius Johnson, Auston Elder, Kelvin Rachel. The first class was anointed as members on December 5, 1999. The first probate show was held at New Birth Fellowship Church and the beginning of “the ultimate fraternal ministry.”
